about anna

Blue Button Studio began as a way to create things that feel thoughtful, personal, and a little unexpected - and it continues to grow into a space for special gatherings, beautiful florals, and special moments shaped with care.

My path here hasn’t been linear. I grew up in Colorado, spent over 16 years living in Hong Kong, Thailand, Norway and England. I returned with a deep appreciation for the vast diversity of people and how we each have something special to bring into this world. I found a love of textures, colors, and the small details in the every-day that can make something feel meaningful.

Along the way, I started a small business called Bez & Oho, where we crafted bags and wallets from recycled rice bags and a variety of patterned fabrics - each one finished with a simple blue button.

That detail has always stayed with me, and has now become the quiet signature behind this studio.

Today, Blue Button Studio is centered around helping people gather well — whether that’s through fresh florals, thoughtful event details, or hosted experiences designed for connection and creativity.

I care deeply about supporting local business, working sustainably, sourcing quality materials, and creating things that feel intentional rather than overdone. Most of all, I love helping shape moments where people can slow down, connect, and enjoy time together.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me enjoying the simple life with my husband, David, and our dog, Shadow. I’m always down for a good walk with a friend, a cup of tea with some good conversation, and maybe catching up on that book I’m supposed to be reading.

I’m so glad you’re here.
